Use the Patron Configuration screen to configure the options that will be used when creating and displaying Patron Account screens. The page appears as shown below:
Use the drop-down menu to select a Default Letter Language. Use the fields provided to change the values that will be used for the next Household Number or Patron ID; these values are updated each time a Household or a Patron is created.
You can also use the check-boxes provided to set additional options, as described in the table below.
When you have completed any desired changes, click Save to keep the changes you made. You can undo any changes you haven't saved by reloading the current page.

| Default Letter Language | Designates the language for letters that will be sent to a Patron if no language is selected. |
| Auto Assign Household Number | Assign a Household Number to new patrons automatically. |
| Auto Assign Patron Number | Assign a Patron Identification Number to new patrons automatically. |
| Use Covert Code for Eligibility | Instead of the full name of the patron's eligibility type, a Covert Code will be used. |
| Hide Application Status in Patron Account Screen | The patron's application status will not be displayed on Patron Account screens. |
| Allow Duplicate POS PINs | Allow multiple patrons to use the same POS PIN within the same district. |
| Next Household Number | Displays the next value that will be used when a new Household is created. |
| Next Patron ID | Displays the next value that will be used when a new Patron is entered. |
