Point of Sale

Use the Point of Sale submenu in the Setup root menu to navigate to the following pages:

• Configuration:Configure Point of Sale options and settings.
• Discounts:Create, view, and edit the Discounts that can be applied to Sales Items.
• Limits Configuration:Create, view, and edit the POS and Charge Limits that are used within the application.
• Meal Service Layout:Create, view, and edit the Meal Service Layouts that are used on the Point of Sale screens.
• Pricing Group Selections:Configure the schools and grades that are included in each Pricing Group.
• Pricing Groups:Create, view, and edit the Pricing Groups that are used to determine pricing for Sales Items.
• Sales Update Layout:Create, view, and edit the Sales Update Layouts that are used when updating Sales information.
• Serving Sites:Create, view, and configure the Serving Sites where meals are served.
• Sessions:Create, view, and edit the meal sessions that are used to serve and report Sales Items.
• Terminal Configuration:Configure advanced options that will be applied to one or more terminals.
• Terminals:Create, view, and edit the terminals that are used as workstations in the application.
• Install POS:Install the POS client at this terminal.
