Vending Machines: Using the Number Pad

The keypad for the vending machine is used for all data entry, from entering a PIN or ID to inputting the machine's MAC Address; knowing how the buttons operate for different functions can make entering data much simpler.

 

Below is the number pad, as it appears on the front of the vending machine:

 

 

When using the keypad normally, to enter a PIN or select a Sales Item, the numbers behave like any number pad; 1 is 1, 2 is 2, and so on.

 

When you enter the Options menus, as described in Setting Up the Vending Machine, the function of these keys changes, as described below:
